  •  NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB) held its first Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Conference, titled 'Integrating Absolute Worker Health: Cultivating Healthier and Safer Workplaces’. Industry experts presented a series of talks to keep WSH professionals informed about the latest trends and developments in the field.

  • The NTUC LearningHub Learning eXperience Platform (LXP) was launched during the NTUC Ordinary Delegates’ Conference 2021. As a one-stop online learning mobile application, LXP will be a key enabler for workers and companies to upskill and re-skill as part of the lifelong learning process to stay relevant and competitive.

  •  NTUC LHUB partners world leading online learning provider, Go1, to launch over 100 free handpicked courses during 'Circuit Breaker' period.
  • Partnering with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), NTUC LHUB played a key role in supporting training to help workers and companies during the pandemic.
    • Enhanced Training Support Packages (ETSP): Supported severely affected sectors with over 87,000 training days.
    • Self-Employed Persons Training Scheme: Curated special course bundles and tailored training programmes over 70,000 training days.
    • SGUnited Skills (SGUS) Programmes: Key player for SGUS programmes with 21 job roles and 600 successful job placements out of 1,442 graduated trainees.
  • To date, we have delivered over 640,000 training days in the Year 2021.
    • Swabbers: Supported national Covid testing effort with over 4,000 swabbers trained with the Ministry of Health.
    • Safe Management Officers: Supported a safe re-opening of Singapore with over 17,000 officers trained.
    • Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Enhanced Funding: Worked closely with IBF as an accredited training provider to support almost 95,000 training days for future-ready courses.
    • Professional Conversion Programmes (PCP): Supported training of 175 trainees completing the programme for Infocomm Technology, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Professional Executives.
2018
  • NTUC LHUB launched settling-in programmes for foreign and domestic workers to educate them on safety precautions and employment rights in Singapore.
  • NTUC LHUB aligned itself to the Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) for 23 sectors and formed the Institute of Business Excellence to help companies excel in leadership, business, process and service performance.
2017
  • NTUC LHUB expanded operations with two additional training facilities in Aljunied and Punggol to support the learning needs of workers in WSG.
  • Supported SkillsFuture Singapore’s proliferation of digital awareness under SkillsFuture for Digital Workplace (SFDW), with over 56 ,000 trained.
2016
  • NTUC LHUB was appointed as a training organisation under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) credential system to deliver WSH training and operate assessment sites.
2014
  • NTUC LHUB established as one of the largest Work at Height training providers.
2012
  • NTUC LHUB opened the Industry Skills Centre in Benoi to offer an optimal mix of theoretical and practical learning.
  • NTUC rolled out the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) to enable workers to achieve wage increases through better skills and higher productivity.  NTUC LHUB has trained over 70,000 security and cleaning workers in the PWM framework.
2008
  • The Skills Programme for Upgrading and Resilience (SPUR), an initiative by the tripartite partners, was rolled out to help workers transition into new job scopes in preparation for the economic recovery.
  • Together with NTUC, NTUC LHUB trained over 100,000 displaced workers under SPUR to take up new jobs in hiring sectors.
2006
  • NTUC LHUB pioneered in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) training to support the National WSH framework.
2005
  • WSQ launched as a portable skills currency in Singapore. LHUB supported the launch with wide range of WSQ courses.
2004
  • NTUC LHUB was corporatized to help workers build skills beyond basic computer knowledge through engaging, meaningful and convenient training.
1998
  • The NTUC Computer Training Centre supported NTUC in the Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) to job-match and retrain 20,000 workers during the Asian Financial Crisis
  •  Lt. Col Lee Hsien Loong (pictured) visited and attended a training session at the NTUC Computer Training Centre.
1982
  • NTUC Computer Training Centre was established to equip workers with basic computer skills to prepare them for the wave of computerisation.
