ABOUT HEALTHCARE ACADEMY


Healthcare Academy is a collaboration between Healthcare Services Employees' Union (HSEU), Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), and NTUC LearningHub (LHUB). We support continuous learning for healthcare professionals, particularly those affected by industry restructuring and technological disruptions. In a gist, we provide industry-recognised healthcare courses in Singapore for aspiring professionals in healthcare and management to overcome challenges and excel in their careers. 

At the Healthcare Academy we offer:
 
  • Healthcare courses including therapist assistant courses and caregiving courses in Singapore.
  • Robust job-matching for displaced workers into healthcare careers.
  • Training in adaptive skills, technology skills, and technical skills.
Established in August 2018, we started our journey by addressing one fundamental change: Fostering a shift in the workers from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. This promotes agility and adaptability in the face of technological disruption and demographic changes. Over time, we have expanded our offerings to include Allied Health Professional Courses, healthcare management courses, and various healthcare courses in Singapore. These healthcare courses are designed to prepare workers for various roles in the industry, ensuring they are equipped with the essential skills.
