Business Analytics with Qlik Sense is a scenario-based course that addresses the fundamentals required for self-service visualization and discovery. The course combines demonstrations and hands-on exercises to teach the essential concepts for designing effective Qlik Sense visualizations and guided stories.

Additionally, Qlik Sense allows the selection of different visualizations appropriate to the different types of data being analysed.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Define internal and external data, and suggest where data can be collected
  • List what are some available Business Intelligence Tools
  • Perform EDA to ensure data integrity
  • Perform EDA to ensure data sufficiency and adequacy
  • Extract of data through data connection, or API
  • Perform ETL to ensure data is ready for analytics
  • Explore different visualizations available in Qlik Sense and learn how to select the appropriate visualization/s to answer your data questions.

Laptop with Microsoft Windows 10 (8GB RAM minimum and 5GB disk space for installation) installed (MAC not supported). This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.   • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from the employer if trainee did not fulfil the eligibility criteria
  • Eligible company-sponsored trainees will be able to clock CPD hours upon successful course completion

Remarks

  • Self-sponsored Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding
  • Self-sponsored NTUC Members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
