An introduction into the technologies that makes SAP Business Suite possible. SAP HANA is an in-memory, column-oriented, relational database management system which support heterogenous Business Intelligence tools, ERP and line of business applications. At its core lies in-memory databases allowing the CPU to access data directly making access to information fast and efficient. Couple with advanced tools, it had changed the way companies work with data. This course will give you an introduction to the key technologies of SAP HANA.

Through lectures and exercises you will quickly develop a broad understanding of all key areas of SAP HANA including technology, architecture, data modeling, data management and application development.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the key concepts, technologies and deployments options of SAP HANA and the need for a modern digital platform.
  • Understand the various SAP HANA interfaces used by developers and administrators for data and platform management.
  • Create and consolidate data using SAP HANA modeling tools and learn the various types of nodes used for data analysis.
  • Acquire and enrich data and load to SAP HANA using either an internal or external tool.
  • Build a report that runs on an SAP HANA data model and visualize the data in charts, table, or matrix.
  • Get to know the different types of desktop and web-based application development environment used for data management and analysis needs.
