Who Should Attend
This course is relevant to those who would like to attain the Specialist Diploma in WSH, which is part of the certification requirement under the WSH Act, in order to be a WSH Officer.
Course Overview
On completion of this unit, you will have the knowledge and skills in planning and writing a technical report to meet its objectives, audience, and context. It includes analysing of data and presenting useful information in a concise and coherent manner that leads to conclusions aligned with the report objectives.

Pre-requisites
You are required to fulfill any of the following tracks to be eligible for the course.
Track 1:
- Recognised Technology/ Science-related Diploma/ Engineering Degree
And
- At least 2 years of WSH relevant working experience
Track 2:
- Possess Employability Skills Workplace Literacy Level 6 or GCE O Level English Grade C6
- GCE O Level Math & Science Grade C6, or bridging course
- Possess GCE ‘O’ Level Science (Physics) grade C6, or Certification of Performance Physics bridging course
- Possess WSH Skills and knowledge equivalent to that of Advanced Certificate in WSH
- Have at least 2 years of post-WSH qualification working experience as WSH Supervisor, WSH Coordinator or similar occupation role
Track 3:
- Possess Employability Skills Workplace Literacy Level 6 or GCE O Level English Grade C6
- GCE O Level Math & Science Grade C6, or bridging course
- Possess GCE ‘O’ Level Science (Physics) grade C6, or Certification of Performance Physics bridging course
- Possess WSH Skills and knowledge equivalent to that of Advanced Certificate in WSH
- Have at least 5 years of WSH-related working experience, in which 2 years should be recent working experience such as WSH Supervisor/Coordinator
Note: All Modules will be assessed according to full qualification. You may also be required to undergo a pre-qualifying test. Applications without ALL the above required supporting documents will be considered incomplete and rejected.

Course Outline
- Determine the technical report objectives and requirements to meet the needs of the target audience
- Collect and analyse data for turning into useful information to be included in the technical report
- Solicit feedback and incorporate changes into the draft report to align with the report objectives and requirements before presenting to the target audience
- Present the information in writing to meet the report objectives and requirements in a concise and coherent manner
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Upon completion of the course a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
