Course Objectives

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose of organisational continuous improvement and identify the types of continuous improvement process techniques available.
  • Describe the concepts and methods of continuous improvement process and list the procedures for making action plans.
  • Identify, implement, monitor and review continuous improvement plans.
  • Track and measure progress of continuous improvement activities
  • Take corrective action against issues that arise during implementation
  • Follow-through the continuous improvement activities and take appropriate corrective actions on any non-conformance
  • Report and record the outcomes of continuous improvement activities

Pre-requisites

Participants should be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5.
