This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to work with and analyse data and work with business cases using Microsoft Excel. The objective is to familiarize the participants with the fundamentals of how to manage, transform and analyse data using the various functions in Excel.

Course Pre-requisites

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets including formulas, such as Vlookup, and pivot tables
Hardware & Software

Windows Laptop with Microsoft Office / Office 365 installed. MacOS hardware and laptop with Mac version of Office 365 are not recommended.

For Mac users, Bootcamp Windows 10 with PC version of Office 365 for MS Excel course is strongly recommended. This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

Trainee must achieve 100% attendance and pass all relevant assessments
NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not fulfil the eligibility criteria

Sponsoring company must be
- Singapore-based financial Institutions regulated by MAS (licensed or exempt from licensing by MAS)
- FinTech firms certified by Singapore FinTech Association
NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from the employer if trainee did not fulfil the eligibility criteria
Eligible company-sponsored trainees will be able to clock CPD hours upon successful course completion

Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding

UTAP:

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
NTUC Members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

Training Allowance Grant (TAG):

$10/hr of eligible training and assessment hours
TAG will only be disbursed to the eligible sponsoring companies upon the participants’ successful completion including fulfilling 100% attendance requirement and passing the assessments.
