Course Overview
F&B
This course is contextualised to enable learners to understand what a comprehensive business plan would entail and their respective role/s in the business plans, executing and adapting implementation plans which includes monitoring and reporting of the outcomes of the implementation of a business plan.
This course is focused on F&B entrepreneurs, business owners who are starting out as franchisors or franchisees, managers who are tasked to implement business plans. There are content contextualised to the F&B industry and contains learning activities which are targeted at this industry.
Ecommerce
This course is contextualised to enable learners to understand what a comprehensive business plan would entail and their respective role/s in the business plans, executing and adapting implementation plans which includes monitoring and reporting of the outcomes of the implementation of a business plan.
This course is focused on the E-Commerce entrepreneurs. There are content contextualised to the E-Commerce industry and contains learning activities which are targeted at this industry.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- To enable learners to clarify their own role/s in the business plan
- To ensure that learners will be able to execute the implementation plans in a timely manner
- To enable learners to identify and adapt implementation plans in an F&B environment
- The learner is able to monitor and report outcomes to relevant F & B stakeholders
Learners will be able to perform the following:
- Clarify own role in business plans to be able to facilitate the execution of implementation plans
- Execute implementation plans found in business plans in a timely manner in consultation with stakeholders
- Adapt implementation plans when necessary to ensure alignment with overall objectives
- Monitor and report on outcomes to relevant stakeholders
Learners will be able to state/describe/explain the following:
- The importance of implementation towards achieving overall objectives and goals
- Responsibilities of executing implementation plans
- Various components of a business plan
- How to execute and adapt implementation plans
- Organisational/overall objectives
- Outcomes and impact of a business plan to the organisation
- Relevant stakeholders
- Delegation and assignment of tasks
Pre-requisites
Prior to attending this course, trainees should have:
- Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent
Course Outline
This contextualised course aims to give learners a comprehensive knowledge of a business plan. This course starts with learners understanding of the various types of agreements and their role/s and responsibilities in the F&B/Ecommerce environment.
Learners will also learn of the types of business plans, who are the relevant stakeholders to consider when implementing a business plan and the steps to implement a business plan. The reasons for monitoring activities and when things don’t go according to plan and Murphy’s Law sets in, what are the corrective actions needed.
Part of the responsibilities in implementing a business plan is to report on outcomes and here learners will learn the different methods of reporting outcomes and how to explain short-comings or poor performances. In addition, learners will also learn how to present recommendations to overcome short-comings or poor performances and how to obtain relevant stakeholders buy-in to implement the recommendations.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
SSGs Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to learners who have achieved 75% attendance and are Competent (PASS) in their assessment.
