Course Duration
Who Should Attend
This course is for all workers who are required to work at-heights. You will be taught the hazards and the safe work practices of working-at-heights.
Course Overview
- Identify the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act/ Regulations/ Approved Codes of Practice/ Singapore Standards relevant to work-at-height
- Recognise risk assessment methods relevant to work-at-height hazards
- Follow organisational preventive measures relevant to working-at-height
- Use and Care for fall prevention systems and equipment
- Follow workplace Fall Protection Plan in accordance with organisational procedures
Testing for 10 Jul Production deployment.

Course Objectives
- Perform checks before and after use of Work at Height (WAH) equipment
- Perform proper use of WAH equipment in accordance to relevant legislation and guidelines, including evaluating use of fall arrest and fall prevention systems
- Perform self-relief techniques during harness suspension trauma situations
Pre-requisites
- Safety shoes and proper attire (no singlet/ shorts/ bermudas) are COMPULSORY for all
- 100% attendance is required

- Type of WAH equipment and unsafe practices with their use
- Criteria for selection of WAH equipment
- Fall Arrest System and Fall Prevention System
- WAH equipment inspection and record keeping
- WAH hazard identification
- WAH fall control measures
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Results will be released 10 working days after course ends. Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, an
e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass from NTUC LearningHub will be awarded to you.
