Course Objectives

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Explain and interpret salient WSH legislations and other requirements relevant to the construction industry
  • Describe the WSH duties and responsibilities of a supervisor in the construction industry
  • Assist in safety and health planning and organisation at the worksite
  • Identify WSH hazards, evaluate and control risks in the construction industry in accordance with risk management process
  • Carry out WSH inspections in accordance with organizational inspection procedures
  • Conduct an incident investigation and prepare a report in accordance with legal requirements and other organisational requirements

Pre-requisites

Participants of this course are advised to have at least ES WPLN Level 4 & above or equivalent as otherwise, the participants may find the course challenging to understand and pass the required assessments.

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Safety Pass from NTUC LearningHub.
