Course Overview

The purpose of this competency unit is to enable you to Supervise Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) in a Process Plant.

Pre-requisites

You are assumed to have at least 1 year of WSH relevant working experience and possess:

  • ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 or GCE “N” Level English grade 5 & Mathematics grade 5; and
  • WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to that of Certificate in WSH and

Course Outline

  • Comply with WSH legislations, guidelines and code of practice and provide inputs for risk assessment
  • Identify hazards and control measures
  • Comply with safety and health management system
  • Implement a permit-to-work system
  • Conduct safety and health inspection
  • Conduct incident investigation

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass from NTUC LearningHub will be awarded to you.
