Terence Hoon

Chief Financial Officer

Terence is responsible for the overall finance control of LHUB. His primary responsibilities involve managing the financial risks and planning, as well as financial reporting of performance and forecast to our Board of Directors.

He has 16 years of experience in regional financial management across various industries such as logistics, manufacturing and IT. He has also worked in China for 4 years with JDEdwards. In his most recent position, Terence was with Keppel Logistics as a Financial Controller covering various Asian countries in areas of controllership, enterprise risk management, financial due diligence and Merger & Acquisition. He was also on the Board of Directors for 2 of its subsidiaries, Transware Distribution and Keppel Logistics Malaysia.

Terence received a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and his MBA from Calstate University, Hayward.

SENIOR DIRECTOR CORPORATE SALES

Sivakami is the Senior Director of Corporate Sales in NTUC LearningHub. The department maintains and builds relationships with all corporate clients who wish to send their staff for professional upgrading.

She started her career in NTUC LearningHub since its incorporation as a Curriculum Manager before moving on to sales. In the last 7 years, Sivakami was part of and managed the various sales teams in LHUB. In her last role as the Assistant Director of Sales, she had the opportunity to work with the full spectrum of customers that LHUB served – individuals, unions, labour intermediaries and corporate organisations.

Prior to joining LHUB, Sivakami spent 3 years in NTUC Administration and Research Unit (ARU) Skills Development Department. She was involved in curriculum development and the running of the IT Training Centre.

Sivakami holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science & English Language) from National University of Singapore and a MBA with Merit from Manchester Business School

Joe heads the Consumer Sales Department. The department comprises of Direct Sales, Branch Management and Call-centre (individuals). He is responsible for managing the Direct sales island-wide road-show, day-to-day operations of our network of branches and sales centre and an in-house call centre for individuals.

He has more than 19 years of experience in sales, people management, customer service and retail operations in various sectors like Services, Banking and Finance, Insurance and Property. Some organisations he hailed from include Singpost, Citibank, OCBC Bank and Far East Organisation.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

Anthony Chew

DIRECTOR INFOCOMM TECHNOLOGY

Anthony heads the InfoComm Technology Campus which focuses on bringing the latest courses in the IT industry for PMEs. Prior to that, he has worked in the education and training industry for the past 15 years, holding various functions.

After his 4-year stint as a Senior Academic Staff with Republic Polytechnic, Anthony joined NTUC LearningHub as a Senior Training Manager, overseeing courseware and trainers’ management. With his vast sales experience and his desire to better understand industry needs and demands, Anthony was transferred internally to become the Senior Sales Manager, heading the Institute of Business Excellence sales team.

Anthony hopes to develop in-house pedagogy using more technology-based, engaging and modern teaching and delivery methods. Being experienced in sales management, he has a deep understanding of the industry’s business and training needs. In his previous position as Head of CMD, Anthony was well positioned to lead his team to provide total solutions that were unique to each client.

Anthony graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. He also holds a MBA from Nanyang Technological University, majoring in Accountancy.

Jenaline heads the Institute of Business Excellence (IBE) and Healthcare Academy. IBE focuses on equipping learners with adaptive skills comprising Leadership, HR, Productivity, Service, Innovation and Future Skills. Healthcare Academy develops, curates and collaborates with partners to deliver learning solutions for healthcare workers with an emphasis on Care Giving, Change Management, Resilience and Total Wellness.

Jenaline has pioneered the setup of NTUC LearningHub and rejoined after almost a decade, during which she was with NTUC Health, led a SGX mainboard-listed investment holding company in Japanese technology and started two businesses, in executive coaching and renewable energy.

Jenaline has more than 30 years of corporate experience which includes Sales and Marketing, Partners Management, Customer Service Management, Strategic Planning, Business Development, MIS, HR & Finance. Her industry sector exposure includes semiconductor, info-communication technology, training and education, healthcare services and renewable energy. She has worked for Micron, Siemen Nixdorf, IBM and two of NTUC Social Enterprises. She served as a board member for several private and non-profit organizations.

Jenaline graduated with a Degree in Engineering from National University of Singapore and a MBA from the University of Hull (UK). She is a certified Professional Coach from Erickson Coaching International (Canada) with ICF ACC credential, a TLQ 360 Leadership Feedback Coach, an EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 Workplace & Leadership Assessment Coach, an ACTA Facilitator and an Adjunct Lecturer in management subjects with several universities and polytechnics.

Tay Ee Learn

Ee Learn heads the Technical Skills Product Division, one of the largest provider of Workplace Safety and Health training in Singapore. The division works with the regulators, unions and industry to provide a comprehensive range of learning services and solutions for the advanced manufacturing, built environmental and trade & connectivity clusters.

Ee Learn started his career with the Ministry of Defence before moving on to the private sector. His industrial experiences, both locally and regionally, include operations, food production, supply chain management, safety, security and information technology. He had also served as a board member for several private organisations.

Ee Learn is a strong believer in continuous experiential learning and improvement. He graduated from King’s College London, and holds a Masters of Engineering in Logistics from MIT.

Wee Heng heads the Marketing Department which oversees corporate marketing and outreach for NTUC LearningHub (LHUB).

He has experience in both the public and private sector, having taken on roles such as Brand Manager for Singapore Post Ltd, Regional Digital Marketer for Ascendas Pte Ltd (now Ascendas-SingBridge) and Product Marketer for MediaCorp Toggle. His work experience in digital and social media marketing is well-supported with a strong direct marketing and corporate branding foundation

On a personal note, he is also the founder of a popular food, travel and lifestyle online magazine and also served as a Council Member on the Media Literacy Council of the then-Media Development Authority Singapore between 2014 and 2016.

Wee Heng holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate (2nd Upper Hons) from the National University Of Singapore. He was placed on the Dean’s List by the Department of Real Estate, National University of Singapore.

Sean leads the Human Capital effort at NTUC LearningHub (LHUB), overseeing all aspects of human capital management and development practices in the organisation.

He brings a diversified wealth of experience in human capital and organisation development.  With previous roles in Resorts World Sentosa, Auric Pacific Group, SMRT and UOB, Sean had been involved in a wide spectrum of interventions including HR transformation, jobs redesign, talent development, learning & development and industrial relations.

Sean holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from University College Dublin.

Alan Ting Yee Chong

DIRECTOR, INNOVATION AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Alan heads the Digital Division and is the Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO) for NTUC LearningHub. He is responsible for overseeing IT & managed services and creating new digital assets.

Prior to joining NTUC LearningHub, Alan partnered innovation ecosystems to identify and oversee technology acquisitions in USA and North Asia. His work includes technology, behaviour science, design thinking and process integration. Alan had led many large-scale projects in APEC as well as global program that included Future of work, Digitalization, E-Commerce, M-Commerce and O2O.

During his time with NCS, Alan had served clients in various capacities from business strategy to directing operations and putting process in place with clients like SingTel, Lafarge and MINDEF. His experiences include assisting clients in developing and executing ICT strategy and transformation plans and use technology to drive new digital business.

Alan holds an Executive Master in Leadership, Strategy and Innovation from Murdoch University and is an international fellow with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK).
