The Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats) course provides essential skills and knowledge to identify and respond to terrorist risks and threats. This RTT course covers recognising suspicious activities through behavioural profiling, and handling situations involving suspicious persons, objects, vehicles and powders. It also covers areas such as responding to bomb threats. Learners will gain expertise in after-incident response, ensuring they are well-prepared for various security challenges. Upon successful completion of the RTT course you can apply for roles like senior security officer or security guard. Moreover, when you upskill by attending this security course, you will be eligible to take advantage of the Progressive Wage Model for the Security Sector. Course Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Pre-requisites

The admission requirements are:

Read, write and speak English at WPL Level 4
Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
Act in a professional manner
Observe confidentiality
Be vigilant at all times
Physical and medical requirement
- Certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work
- Must not be colour-blind or hearing impaired
Hardware & Software
- The Live Online Class for this course will be conducted via the Zoom platform.
- Participants taking the Live Online Class must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download and make sure the device requirements are met.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

Upon meeting 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as:
