Who Should Attend
This course is suitable for administrative/operational level workers in the manufacturing industry such as machine operators, production floor operators, planners, craftsman, and technicians.
Course Overview
On completion of this module, participants will have the basic knowledge and skills to follow standard operating procedures and contamination control procedures, report and record abnormalities when carrying out their tasks in a manufacturing or process environment.

Pre-requisites
These are the admission requirements:
- Have basic knowledge of workplace safety and health
- Have received safety training related to a manufacturing or process plant
- Have basic competencies in handling common hand tools
- Have basic understanding of personal hygiene
- Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills System (ESS) are eligible:
- Listening/Speaking Min. Level 3
- Reading/Writing Min. Level 3
- Numeracy Min. Level 3
OR
- Completed PSLE and are able to speak, read and write in basic English
