Hybrid Work Environment

The changing role of managers in the post-pandemic world has impacted the way how hybrid workforce is managed. Developing personal effectiveness in such circumstances are increasingly important. Being in this unpredictable crisis, managers will need to develop personal effectiveness in the hybrid environment such as

1. to justify roles and responsibilities in the achievement of organisational goals

2. managing time effectively

3. maintaining organisational work life balance 4. managing stress and personal finances to be effective at the workplace as a hybrid manager.

Course Objectives

On completion of this unit, the participant will be able to perform the following:

  1. Evaluate personal goals and align them to organisational goals with the hybrid work force.
  2. Evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies to overcome weaknesses and leverage on personal strengths to contribute towards the achievement of organisational goals in the hybrid work mode.
  3. Justify one’s role and responsibilities and their contribution towards the achievement of organisational goals in a hybrid workspace.
  4. Manage time and resources to meet organisational goals with a hybrid workforce.
  5. Analyse causes of stress that affect self in a hybrid workforce and develop strategies and techniques in managing it.
  6. Analyse causes of stress that affect team in a hybrid work mode and develop strategies and techniques to manage team who works in office and remotely.
  7. Promote work-life balance programmes to achieve organizational effectiveness when working on and offline.
  8. Examine the applicability of the common types of financial products for one’s financial context.
  9. Evaluate one’s existing financial situation using appropriate tools and develop a plan to manage such a position.

Pre-requisites

Prior to attending this course, trainees should be able to:

  • Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 4
