- Burnish hard floor surfaces mechanically
- Strip and wax vinyl surfaces mechanically
- Reinstate work area
Course Outline
- Know the various types and characteristics of hard floor surfaces
- Know the various types of spillage, soilage, dust and debris on hard floor surfaces
- Know the types and proper uses of tools, equipment, supplies and commonly-used chemicals for hard floor surfaces
- Know the various types and proper uses of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Know basic proper grooming for work
- Apply basic first aid knowledge
- Display appropriate safety signage to reduce hazards before work
- Perform scrub hard floor surfaces mechanically
- Perform burnish hard floor surfaces mechanically
- Perform strip and wax vinyl surfaces mechanically
- Reinstate work area
- Follow procedures and standards
