Course Overview
Hybrid Work Environment
Supervising employees who are new to the hybrid work format can bring new supervisory challenges and new opportunities for developing personal effectiveness. The learner will be introduced to the knowledge and life skills such as
1. establishing personal goals and analysing them to relate to roles and responsibilities in the achievement of departmental goals
2. managing time effectively
3. maintaining work-life balance,
4. managing stress, and
5. personal finances to be effective at the workplace as a team leader or supervisor.

Course Objectives
On completion of this unit, the participant will be able to perform the following:
- Analyse personal goals and align them to departmental goals with a hybrid work force.
- Examine personal role and responsibilities and their contribution to departmental success in the hybrid work mode.
- Examine personal strengths and weaknesses working with in the hybrid workspace, apply strategies to overcome weaknesses and use personal strengths to contribute towards the achievement of department goals
- Plan, organise and execute personal work activities according to time frame to achieve departmental goals.
- Identify causes of stress that affect self and team and apply stress management techniques to deal with them when working in office and remotely.
- Support the implementation of work-life balance programmes to achieve organisational effectiveness off and online.
- Establish one’s existing financial position using appropriate tools and explain how to manage such a position.
Pre-requisites
Prior to attending this course, trainees should be able to:
- Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 4
