Course Objectives
This course enables you to acquire the abilities and knowledge relating to the TSC of People Development at Level 3 proficiency. On completion of this course, you will be able to apply appropriate actions to supervise and manage the performance of security personnel to achieve organisation’s performance targets. Thus, upon successful completion of this course, you will have the knowledge and applications skills to “Manage Performance of Security Personnel”, including:
- Study site operations
- Assign work
- Monitor Performance
- Review Performance
Pre-requisites
- Obtained Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision and at least a “N” level educational qualification
OR
- At least an “O” level educational qualification with at least 2 years of working experience
OR
- With the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills are eligible:
- Listening/Speaking Min. Level 6
- Reading/Writing Min. Level 6
- Numeracy Min. Level 6
Course Outline
- Monitor staff performance through organisational appraisal systems
- Solicit periodic feedback on staff performance
- Document all performance evaluations carried out for staff
- Review personnel’s performance
- Conduct informal reviews of staff performance regularly
- Establish areas for improvement for staff
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-PDV-4003-1.1
